Terms of Work
I generally adhere to specific guidelines designed to benefit both my clients and myself:
1. My creations are developed in multiple stages. At each stage, I will seek your approval before proceeding, allowing you to provide feedback:
1.1 Initially, I produce a sketch or a preliminary outline of the asset. At this stage, you can review it to ensure it aligns with your vision and suggest any modifications, provided they don't conflict with the initial requirements.
1.2 Next, I typically create the final version of the asset. You can then review its appearance and request any minor adjustments.
1.3 Once all aspects are approved, I will export the files. If you have specific naming or structural requirements, I can accommodate those as well.
2. Obtaining all essential information before commencing work is vital for me to meet deadlines and avoid unnecessary tasks.
3. PAYMENT. Normally, I divide the project into agreed-upon milestones depending on scope, with each milestone being paid for in advance. Once a milestone is completed, the client pays for the next one, and I continue. In some cases, I can work with a 50% advance payment for a milestone, with the remaining 50% due upon your approval of the final results but before I deliver the exported files (source files).
3.1 Under no circumstances will I deliver the exported files (source files) before receiving full payment. If your project has strict deadlines and requires immediate submission of source files upon completion, please consider advance payment for the milestones.
4. Each project requires periodic updates, and I can provide reports daily or whenever there is progress – whichever you prefer. In return, I ask that you provide feedback promptly to keep the project on schedule.
5. While I cannot foresee how the assets will be integrated into your game or project, I am dedicated to achieving the best outcomes when I request all the technical details. This may seem extensive, but it is done for your convenience.
6. I reserve the right to showcase my work in my portfolio. However, I respect your need to handle your project without premature exposure of the assets, so I will always confirm with you first.
